The man
The Darkest hour in the history of The Coprolites was when Nygel convinced the other members to allow me into the band.  The band had already had overwhelming success with the first three triple platinum albums (Dig It Up, Utter and Still).  Being a bit of a newby, I was overwhelmed at the support the other band members have given me.  I find it very hard to be integrated into an already very successful band.
I have always been interested in music (rather than the annoying harpy screeches I get from my guitar) and like some reading this article have a vast MP3 collection (coming up about 60Gb including coprolite albums mentioned above).  I have also enjoyed Jiu-Jitsu and other martial arts for the last ten years.  It seemed only natural to move on to more masochistic hobbies like The Coprolites, however these pleasures in life could not compare to my first love CARS!
I have to admit that from being very young I loved cars in all shapes and sizes and Nygel and most in the studio could confirm my obsession.  Once I had made a bit of money at work I wanted something a bit different to drive, wanted a Plymouth Barracuda or Dodge Charger.  After about 9 months of only been offered Classics that were ready for the scrap heap or automatics I got annoyed and bought a Clio, to which Nygel stated “A fucking Clio” however I had been lucky enough to get my hands on a Mk1 3 litre V6 which is a bit different considering they only made about 600 (this is only my approximate estimate). Simon has traded it in for the
5 and ½ litre monster above, write up to follow.
Needless to say I am very happy!
Anyway back to the music.  Nygel believes I have untapped musical potential, think its like Bill & Ted syndrome (like when Rufus tells Bill & Ted that they are going to change the world but they suck badly) that idea.  Watch this space for future mediocrity!
