I turn up to play, otherwise I would probably never use amplification, and although I like acoustics it's not really the same as plugging in and turning it up……...a lot.
I hadn't really considered the people who turned up to plug in, a band as such . Almost all the participants (all volunteer's and on medication of one form or another) have at one time or another been in what I probably would describe as bands, this most certainly is not. It's more like a small but fairly raucous party, where the general din occasionally sounds like a song you recognise, but you can't find anyone to dance with before the recognition drifts back into the maelstrom that is the coprolites.
….and on next week's show I'll be showing you how to make the most out of that bag of slimy mushrooms we all keep in the kitchen, and the first part in our new weekly spot "Build your own incendiary device". So take something three times a day and we'll see you next time on "the coprolites".
